Job Description

The primary responsibility of a Cyber Threat Intelligence Engineer is to collect, analyze, and disseminate critical threat intelligence to support the organization's cybersecurity efforts.

Key duties include performing strategic, operational, and tactical level collection of cyber threat intelligence, supporting mission planning in meeting information requirements, and continuously analyzing collected information to produce actionable intelligence.

Additional responsibilities involve identifying and documenting indicators of compromise (IoCs), leveraging internal and external resources to research threats, vulnerabilities, and intelligence on various threat actors and exploitation tools and platforms.

Moreover, the engineer will perform threat research to identify tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) of threat actors and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to improve prevention and detection methods.

The role also involves developing and maintaining a threat actor and TTP knowledge base to train and update threat models.

Requirements
  1. Experience with cyber threat intelligence or other intelligence services
  2. Ability to work both individually and with the team
  3. Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Behavioural Sciences, Languages, Psychology, Political Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security or other equivalents
Preferred Skills
  • Good understanding of CTI frameworks like Mitre ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, Diamond Model
  • Ability to show proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Java, .NET Programming, Python & PERL scripting
  • Excellent presentation and briefing skills
  • Professional certifications in CTIA, CRTIA, GOSI, GCTI, GMON or other SANS certifications
