Job Title: Head, Programmes and Partnerships

About Us:

We are the youth wing of a national trades union congress with over 150,000 members aged 35 years and below.

We provide career discovery, workplace protection, leadership development, mental well-being resources, and holistic personal development to support youths throughout their professional and personal journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically lead a team in providing policy support for programmes and initiatives aimed at elevating mindshare and increasing membership among youths.
  • Direct a team in identifying, cultivating, and sustaining external partnerships to expand networks within the youth demographic.
  • Support the outreach and engagements team responsible for implementing programmes and initiatives with external partners.
  • Manage day-to-day activities associated with our initiatives, including engagement, relationship building, programme management, tracking outcomes.
  • Oversight of additional responsibilities related to programmes and partnerships, including internal collaborations and external partnerships.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in any discipline.
  • At least 7 years' work experience.
  • Possess project and resource management skills to handle concurrent work assignments and deliver high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work on some weekday evenings and Saturdays.
  • Good understanding of the dynamics and challenges of the youth sector.
