Job Title: Lead Technician

A Lead Technician is responsible for ensuring the effective operation of equipment and processes within a production environment. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review routers, procedures, specifications, and other instructions for completeness and accuracy to perform operations.
  • Set-up, operate, calibrate, and perform Process Control Checks on equipment by following established instructions and record results.
  • Develop techniques for approval, interpret, evaluate, and report evaluation results as required and outlined.
  • Clean equipment and ensure it is working properly, and clean and maintain work area as needed.
  • Maintain required job skills and knowledge of requirements (including procedures, specifications, etc.).
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • NITEC or Diploma in Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Min 2 years of relevant NDT Inspection experience in FPI or MPI.
  • Obtain certification in NAS410 / EN4179 Level II (FPI / MPI).
  • Able to read and understand related applicable operating procedures and instructions applicable to daily job operations.
  • Set up and standardize equipment, process parts, interpret, and evaluate for acceptance or rejection.
  • Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the technique/method.
