VP, Credit Control Syndication Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Group Technology and Operations team as a VP, Credit Control Syndication. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining cordial relationships between business units, borrowers, and finance parties, as well as handling enquiries and requests.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain relationships with business units, borrowers, and finance parties
- Support syndication and club deals as Facility Agent and/or Security Agent
- Review and provide comments on syndication loan agreements, agency agreements, security and finance documents
- Ensure required security covenants are provided and monitored throughout the deal lifecycle
- Process day-to-day transactions of syndication loan administration
- Liaise with legal counsels, finance parties, and borrowers for deal closing and monitoring of condition precedents and/or condition subsequent
- Review syndication loan agreements, agency agreements, security and finance documents for feasibility, appropriateness, and operational practicality
- Coordinate instructions from syndicate legal counsel to finance parties on disbursement of syndication loans
- Perform agency administration of syndicate borrowers' undertakings
- Ensure filing of relevant MAS returns within stipulated timeframe
- Monitor and ensure project accounts transactions are done in adherence to Housing Developers (Project Account) Rules
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
- At least 5 years' experience in lending, credit operations, and syndication operations
- Strong functional and technical expertise in credit lending, syndication financing, debt restructuring, credit and operational risk management, and regulatory and legal compliance
- Proven track record in managing a sizeable operation team with strong exposure to corporate credits, bilateral and syndicated loans, residual credit and operational risk management, and knowledge of relevant application systems
- Well-developed leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work under challenging and demanding circumstances to meet deadlines
