Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Group Strategic Projects, this position demands a candidate who can deliver comprehensive industry analysis, assess operational and financial performance of Singtel Group and its competitors, and independently generate strategic insights to propel one of the team's foremost priorities – transformation and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market and competitor analysis to identify and articulate pivotal industry trends and disruptions; develop financial models and analyses to support insights.
  • Maintain an external perspective on the Group's financial and share-price performance, which includes understanding Singtel's growth strategies and key business drivers, staying updated on significant deals and transactions, and monitoring analyst reports.
  • Independently devise project analyses and execution plans that align with business unit and/or Group mid to long-term objectives.
  • Engage autonomously with mid to senior-level stakeholders to validate assumptions, findings, and present conclusions to ensure alignment and buy-in.
  • Mentor junior team members in managing strategic projects, including the gathering, verification, and analysis of information while independently forming insights.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Approximately 3-6 years of relevant experience in business planning, consulting, strategy, or business transformation.
  • Proficiency in Business Analytics and Insights (familiarity with Bloomberg, Cap IQ, or other relevant databases).
  • Experience in Business Strategy planning and execution.
  • Expertise in Financial Modelling and Analysis.
  • Adaptability to perform in unstructured or ambiguous situations as the business evolves.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and capacity to work in a fast-paced environment, adjusting to changing business conditions.
  • Excellent and clear communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with initiative, managing multiple tasks simultaneously, often under tight deadlines.
