The position of Cloud Security Engineer requires a professional to implement and manage cloud security solutions to safeguard data and infrastructure. This role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining security controls, responding to security threats, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of cloud environments.

Key responsibilities include monitoring, investigating, and responding to security incidents and vulnerabilities, supporting security monitoring and threat intelligence efforts, and assisting in security investigations, root cause analysis, and remediation planning.

Additionally, this role involves assisting in deploying and maintaining security controls for cloud/hybrid environments, ensuring security compliance with industry standards, and supporting the development of cloud security policies and best practices.

Furthermore, the Cloud Security Engineer will assist in the deployment and integration of security tools, work with DevOps and IT teams to implement security configurations in cloud environments, and participate in security automation and infrastructure-as-code initiatives.

This role also involves collaborating with internal teams to identify security gaps and propose solutions, documenting security policies, procedures, and incident reports, and staying up-to-date with emerging cloud security threats and trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in cloud security engineering
  • Expertise in security technologies such as Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, including AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively
