Gas Infrastructure Operations Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the operation and maintenance of our gas transmission infrastructure. This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement maintenance schedules to ensure safe and reliable operation of our gas transmission pipeline and associated facilities
Monitor third-party earthwork activities in the vicinity of our gas transmission pipeline to prevent damage
Develop and manage budgets for routine maintenance and emergencies
Lead and participate in emergency drills and exercises to ensure preparedness
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement standard operating procedures and emergency response plans

Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university
Experience in operations and maintenance in gas transmission networks or gas facilities
Strong project planning, execution, and management skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills, resourceful and meticulous
