This is an exciting chance to join our organization and contribute to the development of our Automated Fare Collection (AFC) system. As a Junior Backend Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing cloud-native applications using Java.

Your primary focus will be on backend development, where you will work on scalable applications that integrate with various system components. You will gain hands-on experience working with Spring Boot, Kafka, and MQTT technologies.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend components using Spring Boot.
  • Support the development and deployment of microservices within Docker containers.
  • Work with messaging and streaming technologies like Kafka and MQTT for system communication.
  • Collaborate with senior developers and architects to gather software requirements.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services to facilitate communication between AFC components.
  • Participate in unit, integration, and system testing to ensure backend performance.
  • Apply DevOps practices, including CI/CD automation and deployment support.
