**Job Overview**

At People Profilers, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Operations Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a challenging role and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support the implementation, maintenance, and smooth operation of network infrastructure, ensuring that projects are completed on time and meet technical requirements.
  • Coordinate work with field engineers, handle technical issues, and oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of fibre networks, ductlines, and manholes.
  • Schedule and coordinate work with field engineers to ensure tasks are completed on time and meet technical requirements.
  • Assign trouble tickets and urgent tasks to field engineers and monitor their progress.
  • Communicate with local authorities to obtain necessary permits for fibre rollouts, surveys, and repairs.
  • Assist field engineers and contractors by providing solutions to issues encountered on-site.
  • Track the status of all projects and ensure work orders are completed within deadlines.
  • Escalate any unresolved issues to the appropriate teams for quick resolution.
  • Ensure that all necessary documents and data are submitted accurately and on time.
  • Review contractors' claims for work completed and ensure they align with contract terms.
  • Provide regular updates on project status and issues to management.
  • Be on a rotational standby to support after-office troubleshooting when needed.
  • Offer administrative and technical support to the team and management.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Nitec/Diploma in Engineering (preferably Electronic, Civil, or Telecommunications) or related fields.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other commonly used software tools.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive team player with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Knowledge of fibre optic infrastructure and telecommunication network construction is a plus.
  • We offer a competitive salary package with a 2-year contract, including full benefits and a range of perks.
