Job Description

At WS Audiology APAC, we are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team in Singapore. As a key member of our Finance & Accounting department, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, monthly closing, and maintaining accurate accounting records for our Singapore and Denmark entities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the global shared services team to manage daily transactions, month-end closing activities, and intercompany balance reconciliations.
  • Review and approve key financial reports, including standard journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and provisions for stock obsolescence, doubtful debts, and rights of returns.
  • Oversee cash flow management, AP/AR queries, and liaise with function controllers and stakeholders to ensure accurate financial operations.
  • Manage indirect tax filings, internal control assessments, and statutory audit obligations.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:
  • A Diploma or degree in Accountancy or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting.
  • Knowledgeable in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
  • Experience in audit firms or an MNC environment is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
