About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Manager to lead our engineering teams at Kpler. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the technical direction of our products and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage 2-3 teams of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous feedback and growth.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Tech Leads to set the direction for your teams and drive user-focused goals.
  • Ensure data-driven decision-making and a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering department.
  • Mentor and develop engineers, promoting a strong engineering culture and high standards of excellence.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executive leadership, and create clear guidance for your team.
  • Contribute to company-wide best practices and standards, collaborating with the wider engineering organization.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience as an Engineering Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of software technologies and processes, including cloud and serverless environments.
  • Experience working on scaled, consumer-facing products and in fast-paced experimentation-led environments.
  • A product-focused approach, ensuring maximum impact for users and the business.
  • Experience in implementing and leading a data-driven approach to decision-making, leveraging observability tools and processes.
  • Demonstrated success in leading, scaling, and developing high-performing engineering teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives and stakeholders.
  • A humble and growth-oriented mindset, with a desire to continuously learn.

  • Postgres, ElasticSearch, Kafka.
  • API design, Data Pipelines, Distributed Systems Architecture, and Hexagonal Architecture.
