Job Title: Guest Room Ambassador

About the Role:

The Guest Room Ambassador is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by ensuring the cleanliness, comfort, and presentation of our guest rooms. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, physical stamina, and excellent communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and tidying of guest rooms, including bathrooms, with attention to detail and thoroughness.
  • Making beds and arranging furniture to ensure a presentable appearance, showcasing attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Replenishing amenities, toiletries, linens, and mini-bar items, demonstrating a proactive approach to guest satisfaction.
  • Maintenance Reporting: Identifying and reporting maintenance issues such as broken fixtures or faulty equipment, highlighting a commitment to safety and quality.
  • Guest Service: Addressing guest requests, such as providing extra towels or amenities, showcasing exceptional customer service skills and a willingness to go above and beyond.
  • Security: Following hotel security guidelines and reporting lost and found items, emphasizing a focus on security and trustworthiness.
  • Other tasks: May include laundry duties, restocking cleaning supplies, and assisting with guest luggage, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Physical Stamina: The job requires physical effort, including lifting, bending, and carrying, necessitating good physical health and stamina.
  • Attention to detail: Ensuring rooms are spotless and meet established standards, showcasing strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Time Management: Meeting cleaning schedules and deadlines, requiring effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Customer Service Skills: Interacting with guests and addressing their needs, emphasizing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic English: For communication with guests and supervisors, necessitating basic language proficiency and comprehension.
  • Teamwork: Working effectively with other housekeeping staff, promoting collaboration and a team-oriented approach.
Working Schedule:
  • 7am - 3pm, 3pm - 11pm, 11pm - 7am
  • 9am - 6pm
  • Able to work overtime (at least 4hrs)
