Singapore St Luke's ElderCare Full time

At St Luke's ElderCare, we are dedicated to transforming community care for the elderly. As a leading Christian healthcare provider, our mission is to enrich lives in the communities through exceptional care.

We have a network of eldercare centres island-wide, offering a range of services and programmes designed to meet the unique needs of each individual. Our goal is to provide affordable and appropriate eldercare solutions for families who require day care for their senior members.

We believe that every individual deserves to live with dignity and independence. That is why we offer a comprehensive suite of integrated services, including social day care, dementia care, nursing care, respite care, rehabilitation programmes, wellness programmes, and transportation services.

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping clients restore mobility, function, and independence.

Your primary responsibilities will include conducting thorough assessments of problems, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing manual therapy to clients. You will also be responsible for working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality client care and professional conduct.

In addition to your clinical duties, you will be required to supervise students, coach junior staff members, and manage caseloads effectively. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to work effectively with clients, caregivers, and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement physiotherapy programmes for assigned caseloads.
  • Conduct regular client reviews and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver holistic care and communicate care plans to relevant parties.
  • Provide education and training to caregivers and staff members on physiotherapy techniques and best practices.
  • Supervise and guide junior staff members in the delivery of physiotherapy services.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality guidelines, and workplace safety standards.
  • Monitor client outcomes and update records accordingly.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new programmes and services.

The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy, full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), and a Certificate of Practice. They should also demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and under time constraints.

A competitive salary of SGD 5,500 - SGD 6,500 per month, commensurate with experience, is offered. Additional benefits include medical insurance, paid annual leave, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
