Geometric Biophysics Researcher

Job DescriptionThe successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Obtaining theoretical results at the interface of geometry and biophysics
- Designing, implementing, and testing algorithms to model active matter
- Engaging in scientific exchange with collaboration partners of the project
- Preparing reports, scientific papers, and presentations
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- PhD in mathematics, physics, computer science, or a closely related field of engineering
- Research experience in one or more of the following: biophysics, active matter, condensed matter physics, differential geometry
- Evidence of potential for excellence in research
- Enthusiasm for applying advanced mathematical tools and techniques to applications in biophysics
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Experience in the use of programming languages and interest in the implementation of algorithms relevant to the project
