Job Title: Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator - A Role in Promoting a Culture of Compliance

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Health, Safety and Environment (HSSE) professional to join our team as a HSSE Coordinator. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in administering WSH policy, coordinating compliance with client's HSSE producers and WSH legal requirements.

As a key member of our team, the HSSE Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating HSSE management systems, promoting and developing a culture of compliance, measuring and monitoring HSSE performance.
  • Recognizing HSSE hazards and control measures and advising on corrective recommendations.
  • Preparing and facilitating HSSE awareness programmes.
  • Monitoring and reporting all work or operations that violate HSSE procedures, instructions, or would endanger life and property.
  • Inspecting work activities to ensure that HSSE practices are carried out in all work operations.


Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Certificate in Safety Coordinator Training Course or Advanced Certificate in WSH.
  • Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course.
  • Oil/Petrochemical Industry Safety Course For Supervisor.
  • Lifting Supervisor Course.
  • Safety Instruction Course for Supervisors (Manhole).
  • At least 2 years of working experience in a similar capacity, preferably in related industries.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work with and through people from different backgrounds and cultures.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written communication.
  • Good computer skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
