Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Optical Care Professional to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their vision needs.
  • Examine patients of all ages to detect signs of injury, disease, or vision defects, and provide appropriate care and treatment.
  • Recognize signs and symptoms of general health conditions, such as diabetes, and take necessary steps to address these issues.
  • Fit spectacles or contact lenses to patients, ensuring accurate prescriptions and optimal comfort.
  • Offer expert advice and reassurance on vision-related matters, helping patients make informed decisions about their eye care.
  • Help patients choose frames and lenses that meet their style and budget requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports and referral communications for doctors, facilitating effective patient care.
  • Liaise with medical practitioners to share patient information and ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in eye care through ongoing education and training.
  • Lead a team of dispensing opticians and clerical staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Oversee the retail aspects of spectacles, contact lenses, and other vision care products, ensuring efficient sales processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance practice growth and development.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality products and services that meet our customers' needs.
  • Support surgeons in refractive operating rooms, ensuring precise procedures and optimal outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Registration under OOB is preferred but not mandatory.
  • At least 1 year of relevant working experience is required.
