Job Opportunity

The Academy for Healthy Longevity at the National University of Singapore is seeking a highly motivated and organized Research Assistant or Associate to support translational research activities focused on healthy aging.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Conduct laboratory-based experiments in the morning, including processing biological samples, biomarker assays, and data collection.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, safety protocols, and inventory management.
  • Support IRB application drafting and submission for new and ongoing studies.
  • Coordinate study documentation, ethics compliance, and data governance under PI guidance.
  • Participate in research meetings and contribute to project planning and reporting.
  • Collaborate with clinical and academic teams to ensure seamless integration between lab work and research office activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Public Health, or related fields.
  • Prior experience in a laboratory setting and familiarity with clinical or translational research is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of IRB submission processes is a plus.
