Key Responsibilities
Some key responsibilities of this role include:
- Conducting thorough reviews of term sheets, contracts, and legal agreements (LPA, Subscription Agreements, Side Letters) primarily in Japanese.
- Establishing effective communication channels with fund administrators, legal teams, and counterparties to guarantee compliance and proper documentation.
- Managing capital calls, distributions, and waterfall calculations for PE investments with precision.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Fluency in Japanese (reading, writing, and speaking) is crucial for contract review and liaison with Japan-based stakeholders.
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in private equity fund operations or a buyside role is required.
- Strong understanding of PE term sheets, fund structures, capital activity, and compliance is necessary.
