Role Summary

As a Concept Art Lead, you will channel your knowledge of concepting, modeling, and texturing to help tell stories through visually compelling characters, creatures, props, and illustrations.

You'll expand and support a high-performing external team and give them the guidance and context they need to deliver amazing concepts that set industry standards on craft, meet all technical requirements, and match the League of Legends art style.

Through a mix of craft training and hands-on leadership, you will level up the team's craft, mediate and resolve craft disagreements and misalignment, and keep the team motivated towards creating excellent experiences for our players.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Set clear goals for the team and ensure the process of delivering those goals is as smooth as possible for the team and their stakeholders.
  2. Partner closely with product teams and other artists to ensure art quality is excellent and effectively promotes and aligns with larger products.
  3. Maintain your craft skills, inspire creativity, and keep a high-quality bar with hands-on work as needed.
  4. Oversight and accountability for the quality of work delivered by the team and setting the bar for excellence.
  5. Drive innovative ideation and design aspirational concepts to set up other disciplines for success.
