Expert Data Integration Specialist

A Data Integration Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving business growth by consolidating customer, product, and transactional data across regions. This specialist designs high-level and low-level solution architectures, functional/technical specifications, and batch runbooks to ensure seamless data integration.
They implement One-Time Load (OTL) frameworks and incremental load mechanisms for large datasets, leveraging their expertise in Big Data Engineering on Cloudera Hadoop. By tuning Spark jobs using Yarn and managing memory/executor configurations, they optimize performance and automate downstream file generations using Beeline and Shell for analytics and audit teams.
The specialist also handles Avro and Parquet file formats, performs data transformations in HDFS, and enables Hive querying. They collaborate with cross-region stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications, executing data sampling, complex computation logic, and integration testing for regulatory data delivery.
