Marine Engineering Expert Wanted

  • The Role: Marine Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Marine Engineer with extensive experience in the marine industry, to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and project management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support during tender exercises for newbuilding and conversion projects.
  • Review contracts, technical documentation, and equipment specifications to ensure compliance with design requirements.
  • Develop basic design concepts in line with newbuilding tenders.
  • Prepare drawing schedules and coordinate technical meetings with clients, classification societies, designers, vendors, and system integrators.
  • Implement newbuilding design and execute engineering production plans for awarded projects.
  • Interpret classification rules and maritime regulations.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in the marine or offshore industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.
  • Solid understanding of shipbuilding processes and project workflows.
  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
