Marine Project Coordinator

As a Marine Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day projects related to Afloat Repairs, Lifesaving & Fire-Fighting Inspection and offshore projects on Ships/Rigs in Singapore and at Overseas. You will assist the head of department in managing the company's field service operations, handling technical, operational and commercial matters, ensuring timely completion and maintaining high quality standards.
- Project Management Responsibilities:
- Develop project quotations, obtain HOD or management approval, and prepare project costing for job completion settlement with customers.
- Issue material, tools & equipment requisition to the supply department for purchase and send purchase orders to subcontractors for maintenance and service.
- Monitor and manage company repair teams and/or subcontractors for job execution, coordinating activities and ensuring smooth project delivery.
- Liaise with clients, including Shipowners/Managers, Offshore Operators, Shipyard Repair Managers, Agents, and others for project coordination and support.
- Manage tools and equipment stored in the company warehouse, performing regular calibration as required.
- Handover relevant contact information to the logistics coordinator for transportation arrangement of engineers and repair teams, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Ensure all documentation and certificates are ready for the project, submitting them to clients upon completion and maintaining records in the project file and ERP system.
- Provide remote technical support to customers and respond to their queries as needed.
- Support the development of repair techniques, training, and team building as requested by the HOD or management.
