Job Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a key role in our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing distribution modernization projects.

Our ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in civil or electrical engineering, along with 2-5 years of experience in power distribution line projects. They will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and IT skills, and familiarity with overhead construction methods and distribution system equipment.

A solid understanding of distribution design concepts, such as pole loading, voltage calculation, ROW documents, and other relevant terminology is essential. Proficiency in software tools like ArcGIS, ArcFM, AUD, AutoCAD, DDSS, ESRI, or similar programs is preferred. Additionally, knowledge of pole analysis using tools like Pole Foreman, SpidaCalc, Katapult, and O-Cal will be advantageous.

Key responsibilities include preparing layouts, designs, and reports in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications. This includes participation in technical meetings, provision of specialist knowledge, and staying updated on industry advancements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to devise efficient solutions, are key requirements.

Experience with distribution design tools and GIS software, knowledge of easements, right-of-way, and permitting, as well as an interest in advanced distribution technologies are desirable. Flexibility to work in varied roles for clients globally is expected. This full-time role is based in Mumbai, India, and travel is not required.
