Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to oversee the execution of our construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with the project plan and within budget.

  • To assist the Project Manager or Project Engineer in the daily execution of work and ensure that all tasks are carried out according to priorities and plans.
  • Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans.
  • Supervise the construction of works and incorporation of materials to ensure they are carried out in accordance with the Project Plan.
  • Carry out works scheduling, material requisition, cost control, project supervision, and documentation.
  • Ensure safety rules are observed and obeyed by all personnel on site.
  • Coordinate and liaise with relevant parties such as consultants, sub-contractors, etc.
  • Monitor expenditure to ensure it remains within budget.
  • Resolve problems when they arise.
  • Report on daily progress to managers, engineers, clients, etc.
  • Prepare weekly or monthly progress reports for managers, engineers, etc.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of working experience in the construction sector or equivalent.
  • Ability to read drawings, specifications, and requirements to ensure all works completed by workers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to work independently, proactively, and self-motivated.
  • Willing to learn and work under pressure.
  • Good communicative skills, able to interact with people at all levels.
