Communication Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled Communication Specialist to play a vital role in assessing and managing communication and swallowing disorders in adults.

You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide quality care for patients, contributing towards staff development by providing training and supervision to junior Speech Therapists and students.

Key responsibilities include providing education to patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals, as well as implementing initiatives and programs that aim to provide quality patient care, deliver clinical education, and engage in quality improvement/research activities.

  • Bachelor Degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent required. MSc in Speech and Language Pathology (No experience candidate-entry level) or MSc / MA in Speech-Language Pathology (U.S.A) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) also accepted.
  • Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council is mandatory.
  • Valid membership with local professional body/association is preferred.
