Job Description:

Robotics Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Robotics Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Research and Development department, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing control systems for our products.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of design analytics, algorithms, analysis tools, and object-oriented modelling. They should be critical and creative thinkers with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing robotics systems that interact with drones/UAVs
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery on time
  • Gathering and analyzing users' requirements and interpreting them into design requirements
  • Providing technical support to other teams regarding robotics system-related issues
  • Conducting testing for implemented algorithms
  • Ensuring existing research, development, and testing equipment is up-to-date
  • Staying current with the latest technologies and incorporating new technology into existing units
  • Working closely with customers to resolve technical issues as needed
  • Drafting new project proposals and presenting them to management
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/Science, Robotics, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in the robotics field (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of C/C++ and Python, familiar with Git and bash
  • Knowledge of advanced robotics control and filtering (Kalman Filtering and PID)
  • Ability to think creatively and analytically
  • Proficiency in problem-solving
  • Clean, readable, and modular coding practices
  • Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to multitask

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with ROS, Ubuntu, OpenCV
  • Experience with Kotlin and Android application development
  • Experience with PX4 and Ardupilot
  • Experience with advanced control systems (LQR or MPC)
  • Experience with classical machine learning and deep learning
  • Experience with debugging and interacting with electrical and mechanical hardware
