Audio Visual Technician

At our wildlife reserve, we are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Technician to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our audio visual systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in AV technology and electrical engineering, with experience in installation, troubleshooting and maintenance. They will also possess good problem-solving skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair AV and control systems to ensure smooth audio/video operations.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance for AV equipment.
  • Set up and operate AV systems for events and daily operations.
  • Provide real-time support for AV, electrical, and mechanical issues.

Requirements:

  • Nitec/Certificate in AV Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–3 years' experience in AV installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of AV systems with good problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and in a team.
  • Good communication, attention to detail, and able to work under pressure.
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and overtime.
  • Physically fit to handle AV equipment.
  • Work at Height/MEWP (Boomlift/Scissor Lift) certification is an advantage.
