Procurement Specialist:

This role plays a pivotal part in our organization's success. We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Obtain quotations and purchase raw materials, components, and assign secondary processes to subcontractors.
  • Update machining subcontractor quotations in the system after management approval.
  • Issue and manage Work Orders and Purchase Orders.
  • Consolidate and source materials, components, and plating from alternative sources to achieve cost savings.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by management or immediate superiors.
  • Evaluate all purchases for company-assigned buyers.
  • Work with the group sourcing team on procurement evaluations.
  • Develop and manage Supply Chain Management plans.


Requirements:
Must-Have:

Mechanical engineering diploma or equivalent work experience.

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English for internal and external communication, as well as presentation skills.

Experience in procurement and purchasing processes.

Teamworking skills and a collaborative approach to work.

Excellent organizational skills.

Ability to manage complex processes.

Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainties.

Tenacity and resilience, drive to seek new business, and meet or exceed targets.

Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).


Nice-to-Have:

Experience with CRM software (Salesforce).

Experience in the manufacturing industry.
