About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Lead to join our Global Growth Team at TikTok PTE. LTD. As a Data Science Lead, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and informing product decisions through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive product metrics and quantitative measurement structures based on product stages and business purposes.
  • Prototype analysis pipelines to provide insights and respond quickly to business inquiries and events.
  • Conduct routine and non-routine end-to-end analyses with large, complex data sets and make recommendations on appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with PM/Ops team/R&D to promote the implementation of optimization schemes and bring about actual improvement and growth of the business.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of working experience in Data Science, algorithmic engineering, or machine learning.
  • Proficient in SQL/Hive/Python or R, experienced in massive data manipulation, machine learning, and modeling.
  • Strong technical leadership combined with hands-on data mining and machine learning application experience.
  • Solid technical knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and ability to consistently explore and find the best practice.
  • Insightful data sense and rigorous logical mindset, capable of providing systematic approaches to solve business problems.
  • Ability to quickly familiarize with new business and lead a small project team to support business.
  • Demonstrated leadership and self-direction, willingness to teach others and learn new techniques.
  • Strong ability to work under pressure, overcome difficulties, and accept challenges.
