**Job Summary**

MyCareersFuture is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Maintain and upgrade existing systems as required
  • Design new functionality and frameworks
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Leads, and IT teams to resolve issues and ensure solutions are viable and consistent
  • Work with outside data sources and APIs
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and bug fixing
  • Improve application performance, ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Conduct regular reviews of systems and generate reports on efficiencies and improvement areas
  • Create system guidelines and manuals for the organization
  • Run training sessions and workshops on system processes

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
  • 1-3 years of experience in web application development
  • Experience with two or more programming languages, including but not limited to PHP, C++, C#, etc.
  • Familiarity with API design and development (e.g. RESTful) is a plus
  • Familiarity with rational databases, such as MySQL and Microsoft SQL
  • Experience with third-party libraries and web application development platforms is a plus
  • Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
  • Experience in the full development cycle of web applications
  • Familiarity with web security (attacks and protection) is a plus
  • Familiarity with jQuery libraries and front-end (CSS) frameworks, such as Bootstrap, JavaScript, JSON, and XML
  • Understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions, and standards
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices associated with database maintenance and administration
  • Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems
  • Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions
  • Must be a team player and able to work effectively with peers in resolving problems
  • Must have excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Basic knowledge of project management discipline
