Gynaecological Pathologist

We are seeking a medical specialist to join our team of pathologists at the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (DPLM).
The successful candidate will have subspecialty interests in gynaecological pathology, breast pathology, cytology or any combination of the aforementioned areas.
They will work with a dynamic, friendly and supportive department that provides comprehensive clinical services including gynaecological and breast surgical pathology, frozen section cover, cytology and multidisciplinary meetings.
The role can be primarily clinical with a component of education or research responsibilities, depending on the candidate's preferences and aptitude.
However, an academically-inclined candidate with a strong track record of research achievements in the fields of gynaecological or breast pathology will receive prioritized consideration for this position.
Our department has modern and efficient facilities, including a large repertoire of immunohistochemical stains and integrated molecular diagnostics.
Our department receives the largest and most extensive case-mix of gynaecological specimens in Singapore.
Requirements:- A qualified and experienced medical specialist with relevant qualifications that are registrable with the regulatory body.
- A specialist qualification in gynaecologic and/or breast pathology or a distinguished career as a gynaecoogical and breast pathologist recognised by the accrediting authority.
- At least one first-author publication in a peer-reviewed journal and competent clinical skills with the ability to make sound and independent decisions.
Employment will be made commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
