About the Role

Are you a skilled and ambitious individual looking to launch your career in electrical and mechanical engineering?

We are seeking a talented Electrical and Mechanical Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are eager to gain hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, and basic automation systems.

The position involves performing electrical panel wiring, assembly, and installation according to engineering drawings and specifications. You will also carry out troubleshooting, testing, and repair of electrical panels and equipment. Additionally, you will assist with mechanical assembly, fitting, and installation works, and support engineers in simple PLC programming, modification, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical Panel Wiring: Perform electrical panel wiring, assembly, and installation according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Carry out troubleshooting, testing, and repair of electrical panels and equipment.
  • Mechanical Assembly: Assist with mechanical assembly, fitting, and installation works.
  • PLC Programming: Support engineers in simple PLC programming, modification, and troubleshooting.
  • Project Execution: Provide assistance during project execution, commissioning, and after-sales support.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure all work complies with company procedures, quality requirements, and workplace safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, or related fields.
  • Experience: Fresh graduates are welcome; training will be provided.
  • Skills: Basic understanding of electrical wiring, tools, and mechanical assembly.
  • Advantageous Skills: Knowledge of simple PLC programming (Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, or similar) will be an advantage.
  • Personal Qualities: Good problem-solving skills, with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Teamwork: Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Nationality: Must be Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident, currently residing in Singapore (due to possible after-office hours activation).
