The role of a Cell Therapy Operations Manager plays a pivotal part in ensuring the seamless operation of CAR-T centers in the APAC region. Reporting to, this position oversees regional onboarding, continued operations, and maintenance of all CAR-T centers within compliance with local health authority regulations and internal guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Setting:
  • Lead CAR-T center operations management
  • C coordinate key personnel to ensure efficient patient treatment
  • Drive continuous operational improvements

Clinical Trial Setting:

  • Guide trial site selection
  • Develop new processes for effective working
  • Evaluate site readiness
  • Manage CAR-T center operations to ensure timely delivery and quality standards

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Guarantee proper CAR-T site network through efficient onboarding and site maintenance
  • Deliver operational projects on time and minimize deviations
  • Support customer satisfaction and manufacturing success

This role has a significant impact on ensuring safe and effective use of Novartis Cell & Gene therapies by treatment centers. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in external partner-facing roles or leadership positions in healthcare, with expertise in hospital stakeholder management, pharmaceutical environments, and project management. A strong understanding of communication, emotional intelligence, business acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to operate in high-tech environments is essential.
