Purchasing and inventory management plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business.

Job Description:

The Purchasing & Inventory Supervisor will be responsible for managing the entire purchasing cycle, from sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to placing orders and tracking deliveries.

The supervisor will also maintain optimal inventory levels, involving stock cycle count, and implementing inventory control procedures. Meeting inventory target set by superior is an essential part of this role.

Additionally, the supervisor will lead and supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support. Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and prices, and resolving any issues that may arise are also key responsibilities.

The Purchasing & Inventory Supervisor will ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the warehouse, including storage, handling, and issuing of goods. Analyzing inventory data and purchasing trends to identify areas for improvement, cost saving, and cost optimization is also an important task.

Ensuring adherence to purchasing policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations, is crucial for this role. The supervisor must be able to multitask and perform any other duties as required by superiors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., supply chain management, logistics)
  • 5 years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, and/or warehouse operations, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Proficiency in inventory and purchasing management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP systems
