We are seeking a skilled MIS engineer to join our team.

Job Description

MIS Engineer Role and Responsibilities

Our organization requires a highly motivated and experienced MIS engineer to take on various responsibilities including the management and configuration of Microsoft 365 services, user provisioning, and licensing. The successful candidate will also be responsible for reviewing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft 365 security policies and services, as well as ensuring compliance with Cybersecurity certifications.

Cybersecurity Management

The MIS engineer will oversee the setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of computer hardware, networks, and systems to ensure optimal performance. Additionally, the candidate will provide IT technical support for end-users, addressing issues related to hardware, software, network, and cloud services. They will also be responsible for being the point of contact between users and IT vendors to facilitate the delivery of IT solutions and services.

Technical Expertise

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with the Microsoft Windows environment, including configuring and troubleshooting. Proficiency in configuring and managing Microsoft 365 services and implementing security measures is essential. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and cybersecurity best practices knowledge are also required.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Strong hands-on experience with the Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing Microsoft 365 services.
  • Microsoft 365 Knowledge.
  • Problem-Solving Skills.
  • Communication Skills.
  • Security-Focused.
  • Professional Certifications in Microsoft 365 services and / or Cybersecurity.
  • At least 1 year experience communicating and servicing end users of all levels.
  • Experience using mobile device management software to manage both Windows and MacOS devices as well as mobile phones and tablets.
  • Familiarity with setting up and configuring servers and other network devices advantageous.
