Structural Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing detailed designs and documentation for building projects
  • Leading and delegating tasks within a workgroup
  • Preparation of calculations required for engineering projects
  • Preparation of specifications, proposals, and tender documentation
  • Resolving tasks or problems that arise at a competent level
  • Acting as a technical expert to mentor and develop other structural engineers within the team

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Recognised Civil & Structural Engineering qualification (Bachelor / Master's degree)
  • Minimum 10 to 15+ years of relevant experience in an engineering consultancy environment
  • Proven proficiency and experience in civil / structural engineering design and analysis on building projects in Singapore
  • Solid experience in reinforced concrete, post tension concrete and structural steelwork design
  • Sound understanding and application of relevant engineering codes, standards, and practices
  • Strong client focus, excellent communication skills, teamwork, and self-motivation
