Job Title: Service Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our marine and automotive engines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in outboard remanufactured programs and engine overhauls to factory specifications, including dyno tests.
  • Investigate engine failures in the field with customers and resolve product issues.
  • Provide support in installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair to customers and dealers.
  • Maintain workshop assets and ensure special tools and personal toolboxes are well maintained.
Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Provide updated information on product features and service procedures to dealers and customers.
  • Adhere to and implement service administration programs and procedures.
  • E nsure warranty claims guidelines are met and warranty works are completed in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with experience in 2 or 4 Stroke - Diesel marine or automotive engines.
  • Hands-on knowledge in engine servicing and repair is an advantage.
  • Diagnostic skills using computers.
  • Good spoken and written communication skills.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office computer skills.
  • Ability to respond to customer complaints and maintain composure.
  • Independent, resourceful, and able to coordinate multiple and/or completing work tasks.
