Protect Your Business with a Proactive Cyber Fraud Analyst
The position of Cyber Fraud Analyst is crucial in preventing and responding to information breaches and cyber-attacks. As an intermediate-level professional, you will lead efforts to protect our business from digital fraud attacks 24/7.
This role involves:
- Monitoring digital fraud activities and analyzing potential threats using various security event monitoring platforms.
- Implementing predefined actions to handle routine and high-severity issues, escalating them to other support teams when necessary.
- Executing daily tasks or leading small projects related to cybersecurity operations.
- Creating operational reports for key performance indicators and weekly/monthly metrics.
- Assessing and troubleshooting technical issues related to fraud monitoring technologies.
- Participating in daily conference calls to ensure quality assurance and documentation tasks.
- Identifying areas for improving use cases to enhance monitoring value.
- Collaborating with other teams to detect and prevent fraudulent activities early on.
Requirements:
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of current cyber fraud trends, including account takeover techniques and banking malware.
- Deep understanding of intrusion detection analysis (TCP/IP, packet level analysis) and application layer protocols (HTTP).
- Experience with big data technologies, ETL tools, data warehouse and business intelligence technologies.
- Scripting language and Splunk experience are beneficial.
