Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the receipt and processing of consignments and shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of samples.
- Conduct quality checks on patient information forms, identifying and escalating any discrepancies or issues to senior staff.
- Ensure the proper disposal and recycling of kit shipping materials, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Perform secondary checks on shipping materials to ensure specimens are not left in kit packaging.
- Coordinate the shipping of samples for long-term storage or client disposition, adhering to regulatory guidelines.
- May handle receipt of compounds and control materials, depending on the functional area.
- Respond to after-hours alarms and perform job-critical functions, ensuring continuity of operations.
- Assist in the maintenance of equipment, performing routine checks and repairs as needed.
- Support supply inventory functions and contribute to the general upkeep of workstations.
- Perform various administrative tasks as required, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Organize the work area as requested by management, maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.
- Adhere to safety procedures and protocols, ensuring a secure working environment.
- Participate in ongoing education and training, attending meetings and engaging in self-study to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Perform work in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines, upholding the highest standards of quality and integrity.
Requirements
- NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in any discipline.
- Basic computer skills, with proficiency in relevant software and systems.
- Ability to maintain effective reporting procedures and control workflow, ensuring seamless operations.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
