About the Job:

We are seeking a Research Fellow to develop novel AI-enhanced design methods for heat exchangers, focusing on multi-physics numerical simulations, machine learning, and manufacturability constrained design optimization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting numerical simulations to solve heat transfer problems
  • Developing machine learning-based surrogate models
  • Performing design optimization based on AI
  • Incorporating manufacturability concerns
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on energy systems
  • Maintaining lab equipment and supplies, including procurement and liaison with suppliers
  • Assisting in grant writing and producing high-quality reports and documents

To succeed in this role, you should have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related fields, with expertise in numerical simulation of multi-physics systems and data-driven research.
