Project Overview

We are seeking a seasoned construction professional to lead our project team in delivering high-quality infrastructure and marine construction projects.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, ensuring seamless coordination and effective execution of all project activities.
  • Regularly monitor and report on project progress, providing timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports as required by consultants and clients.
  • Analyze project specifications, including civil/structural, architectural, and M&E drawings, to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct daily monitoring of construction activities, compiling site reports that meet the needs of all parties involved.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to established safety protocols and regulations.
  • Perform administrative duties related to the project as assigned by senior management.
  • Coordinate site inspections with the Resident Engineer (RE) and Resident Technical Officer (RTO).
  • Organize regular toolbox meetings with the Site Supervisor and WSH Coordinator, providing briefings on site activities and tasks.
  • Work closely with the Site Supervisor to coordinate daily site activities.
  • Attend monthly and weekly safety meetings, as well as site discussions with the client.
  • Prepare necessary project submissions, such as RFIs, Method Statements (MS), Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), shop drawings, and other supporting documents.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including records and summaries, to ensure compliance with ISO standards.
  • Manage the team for emergency defect recovery work on Sundays and Public Holidays, and provide status updates in the client's chat group.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field is mandatory.
  • 2-4 years of experience in the infrastructural or marine construction industry is preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Prior experience with dredging, reclamation, or nearshore construction projects is highly advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and BCA regulations is essential.
  • Ability to commute daily by sea to the island worksite is required.
  • Flexibility to work on Sundays or Public Holidays as needed for emergency recovery work is mandatory.
  • Ability to support multiple projects as needed is an added advantage.
  • Ownership of a personal vehicle is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment is critical.
