Job Title: Operating Theatre Technician Associate

This role involves performing a range of tasks in the operating theatre, including setting up equipment and maintaining a clean environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare patient trolleys and floors in operating rooms on a daily basis
  • Set up operating rooms between cases to meet infection control standards
  • Assist surgical teams with patient transfers and positioning, as well as adjusting lighting when necessary

Requirements:

  • Possession of a WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support (Operating Theatres/Sterilisation Services) is desirable
  • Previous experience working as an Operating Theatre Technical Assistant/Associate would be advantageous
  • Meticulousness and ability to work independently are essential
  • Flexibility to work 3 rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Full vaccination against COVID-19 is mandatory
