Key Responsibilities:

  • Mobile Application Development: Lead the development of our mobile application for iOS and Android platforms, primarily using React Native.
  • Architectural Design: Architect scalable solutions, maintain code, participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribution.
  • Code Quality and Distribution: Ensure code quality and distribution, and participate in code reviews to maintain high standards.
  • Product Development: Contribute to each step of the product development process, including ideation, implementation, and release.
  • Security Measures: Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive healthcare data.
  • Application Performance: Optimize application performance for both online and offline use.

  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide the team of mobile application developers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product managers.
  • Best Practices and Standards: Establish best practices, coding standards, and development processes.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Standards: Ensure the application meets all necessary compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Technology Evaluation: Stay updated on mobile development trends and evaluate new technologies for potential adoption and share findings with the team.

Requirements:

  • Software Development Experience: 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years focused on mobile app development.
  • Mobile App Development: Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills: Deep understanding of state management, performance optimization, and security best practices and design patterns, including SOLID, Container/Component pattern, Component composition, Stateless components, Atomic design, Higher order components, Redux /MobX or similar state management.
  • Programming Languages: Strong expertise in React Native and its ecosystem, with firm grasp of JavaScript and TypeScript, ExpressJS or ClojureScript and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax.
  • API Integration: Leverage APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
  • Backend Services: Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, JSON, and working with backend services.
  • CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD and tools like Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
  • Database Management: Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL) and experience in NoSQL (e.g., GraphDB, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
