Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine and Offshore Engineering Expert to join our team at Seatrium (SG) PTE. LTD. in Singapore. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for engineering to take on a challenging role that will leverage their expertise in marine and offshore engineering.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that deliveries from contractors are in line with the scope of work, budget, and schedule. They will provide input, clarifications, and maintain contact as necessary with contractors. Additionally, they will liaise with the engineering and procurement department to ensure upstream deliverables are aligned. The role also involves contributing to planning and execution of Construction and Assurance activities, ensuring QHSE performance of contractors is maintained with continuous improvement, and driving engineering efficiency, securing safety in design, and constructability within own discipline.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform risk-based follow-up of Contractors to ensure deliveries in line with scope of work, budget, and schedule
* Provide Contractors with input, clarifications, and maintain contact as necessary
* Liaise with engineering & procurement department to ensure upstream deliverables are aligned
* Contribute to planning and execution of C&A activities
* Ensure QHSE performance of Contractors is maintained with continuous improvement
* Drive engineering efficiency, secure safety in design, and constructability within own discipline
* Support construction field engineers and take responsibility for decisions within own discipline within set timeframes
* Interface with Contractors and Client to bridge any communication gaps

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related engineering disciplines, Diploma holders with relevant experience are welcomed to apply. At least 5 years of relevant experience in the marine and offshore industry is required, including the ability to station overseas in China. Candidates must be able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment, motivate in a challenging work environment, and have good planning, organising, interpersonal skills and be able to work independently.

Estimated Salary Range

$80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. This estimate is based on the company location in Singapore and the requirements of the job.
