About the Role

TikTok PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Senior E-Commerce Machine Learning Engineer to join our Search E-Commerce team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for improving the basic search quality and user experience for TikTok's rapidly growing global e-commerce business.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve the basic search quality and user experience by optimizing query analysis and text relevance matching, understanding e-commerce video content, and implementing multi-modal matching to improve users' perception of product authority.

• Design and implement the end-to-end ranking system, improving users' personalized shopping interests model and shopping conversion efficiency for merchandise, video, and live stream to promote GMV growth.

• Promote the development of the ecosystem by solving challenging problems such as supply and demand matching, business cold start, and sustainable business growth, and thinking, analyzing, and adjusting the evolution of the system to achieve long-term and sustainable growth of GMV.

Requirements

• Industry work experience in machine learning and good product sense with a focus on user experience.

• Bachelor or advanced degree in computer science or a related technical discipline and excellent coding skills with solid knowledge of data structure and algorithms.

• Excellent analysis, modeling, and problem-solving skills and the ability to see the essence of problems from complex data.
