BIM Management Expertise

The primary objective of this role is to spearhead the creation and maintenance of 3D models that accurately reflect the physical spaces being constructed. These digital representations serve as a unified reference point throughout the construction process, fostering seamless collaboration among all stakeholders. Building Information Models (BIM) are virtual files designed to facilitate informed decision-making during the building process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and enforce BIM Execution Plans, ensuring ongoing compliance and continuous improvement, as well as assume any additional responsibilities or functions as required by the BIM Execution Plan.">
  • Oversee, coordinate, and manage BIM projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to set standards.">
  • Provide internal BIM consultancy services for various projects, offering expert guidance and support.">
  • Develop, implement, and maintain company BIM Standards, workflows, and processes to optimize efficiency and productivity.">
  • Determine the conventions to be followed for reviewing BIM models and associated deliverables, ensuring consistency and accuracy.">
  • Monitor project progress to guarantee alignment with scheduled timelines.">
  • Participate actively in the Company's Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) initiatives within their scope of duties.">
  • Deliver training sessions on Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Bentley software fundamentals to engineers, enhancing their skills and expertise.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree in Civil, Architectural, Structural Engineering, or a related field, accompanied by at least 10 years of relevant experience.">
  • In-depth knowledge of BIM e-submission processes, requirements, and guidelines, as well as LTA, PUB, and BCA standards.">
  • Training in BIM Modeling and BIM Management, demonstrating expertise in these areas.">
  • A thorough understanding of 3D modeling in Bentley and Autodesk Civil and Structural software, including civil structural design, Seed, Shared parameters, Navisworks, Navigator, BIM 360, and Solibri.">
  • Experience with Bentley ProjectWise is an asset.">
  • An alternative qualification route involves holding a degree in Architecture / Structural / Mechanical Engineering, coupled with at least 5 years of relevant experience.">
  • Familiarity with local BIM e-submission processes, requirements, and guidelines.">
  • Training in BIM Modeling and BIM Management, highlighting expertise in these areas.">
