About the Job

The ideal candidate will have expertise in converting high-level designs into physical layouts, ensuring electrical and optical compliance, and optimizing PCB performance, manufacturability, and cost. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve seamless design and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Convert schematic designs into physical layouts on the PCB, adhering to design rules, impedance matching, signal integrity, and optical performance requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work with electrical, optical, and mechanical engineers to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues that arise during the layout or manufacturing process.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of PCB design principles, including signal integrity, impedance matching, and power distribution.
  • Optical Transceiver Knowledge: Familiarity with optical transceiver technology and its electrical and optical requirements.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency with PCB design software, such as Altium or Cadence.
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Ability to identify and resolve complex issues and effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
