Early Childhood Chinese Language Teacher Position

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Chinese language teacher to join our educational team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young learners and fostering their love for languages.

Your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver engaging Chinese language lessons tailored to the age and needs of our students. You will create a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages active participation and interaction among children.

Responsibilities also include ensuring the day-to-day care, hygiene, and well-being of children in class, maintaining a clean and organized classroom, and communicating regularly with parents to keep them informed about their child's progress.

To excel in this position, you must have a solid understanding of early childhood education principles and possess excellent teaching skills. A strong background in Chinese language instruction, preferably at a preschool or kindergarten level, is essential. Additionally, you should be proficient in English and Mandarin (L2), as you will be required to interact with parents and communicate effectively with colleagues.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Early Childhood Education, Chinese Language Teaching, or a related field;
  • L2 proficiency in both Mandarin and English;
  • At least one year of relevant early childhood teaching experience;
  • Familiarity with MOE syllabi or experience with preschool Chinese curricula is highly desirable.
  • Strong classroom management skills, creativity in lesson planning, and excellent communication skills.
