About This RoleThis is a key role in our culinary team. As Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef in overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations.
- Assist the Head Chef with day-to-day kitchen management, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met.
- Help control food preparation processes, maintaining efficiency and professionalism.
- Evaluate the kitchen's performance, making adjustments as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan tasks, controlling labor expenses.
We are looking for a skilled professional who can:
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the kitchen runs on schedule, delivering high-quality food and services.
- Develop and maintain a quality menu that meets business needs.
- Manage kitchen stocks, minimizing wastage.
- Maintain accurate records of food products, supplies, and equipment.
- Supervise subordinates, guiding them to produce exceptional results.
Additionally, we require:
Qualifications:- An Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts or Science, Business, or relevant fields.
- Three to five years of experience as a sous chef.
- Knowledge of food hygiene practices and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Able to grasp business requirements and processes.
