Electronics Support Specialist Job Description

This role involves providing technical assistance to ensure the smooth operation of electronic systems.

The Electronics Support Specialist will be responsible for engineering support for pre and post-sales service activities, including understanding and knowledge of electronics, proficiency in AutoCAD, daily report writing, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engineering support for pre and post-sales service activities
  2. Understanding and knowledge of electronics including circuit diagrams
  3. Proficiency in AutoCAD for floor plans and schematic drawings
  4. Daily report writing and project coordination
  5. Installation, termination, testing, and commissioning of systems
  6. User operation training and field service troubleshooting
  7. Standby duty for servicing and answering calls
  8. Site coordination meetings and site walks

Requirements:

  • NITEC or Diploma in Analogue, Digital, and Computer Electronics/Electrical
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Electrical termination and troubleshooting knowledge is an advantage
  • Computer skills and software proficiency (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Autocad proficiency
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic environment
  • Pressure tolerance to meet project deadlines and multiple accounts/projects
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Organized, fast learner, proactive, and multi-tasking with a positive attitude

Working Terms:

5.5 days per week
